Alberto Gonzalez has always lived at the crossroads of music and creativity. Picking up the guitar at 12 under the spell of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and UFO, he cut his teeth in the 90s Chicago scene with original bands like Ten Ton Overdose, Sex With God, and Choke. After moving to Florida, he helped launch tributes like Dead Poets, and today performs and manages In a Nutshell (Alice in Chains) and The Stone Temple Pilots Projekt — both of which have hit major stages including House of Blues, Hard Rock, Revolution Live, and Jannus Live.

In parallel, Alberto has built a 30-year creative career leading design and strategy for some of the biggest names in media and entertainment. Starting at CBS Television in New York, he created digital experiences for 60 Minutes, Sunday Morning, The Late Show with David Letterman, and The CBS Evening News. His work has earned a BDA New Media Pioneering Award, three IMCA Awards of Excellence, a MIMA Top Twelve Web Award, an AIGA Interactive Award, and even an Emmy for Game of Honor (2012). His projects have been spotlighted in The New York Times, Newsweek, and Wired Magazine.

He went on to found U4EA Studio, producing award-winning digital work for everyone from startups to Fortune 100 companies, before selling the studio and taking on senior creative leadership roles — including Creative/UX Director at CBSSports.com and collaborations with Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Today, Alberto is channeling that same blend of design expertise, storytelling, and rock-and-roll energy into his newest venture: Riff Junky. More than a brand, Riff Junky is a creative platform built to celebrate the guitar-driven spirit that fuels concerts, live events, and culture. With decades of experience on stage and behind the scenes, Alberto is now executing the full creative vision for Riff Junky — shaping its identity, campaigns, and experiences so it doesn’t just rise above the noise… it owns the moment.
